Parcel Area Check privacy

The checker compares a shopper’s entry with the store’s published rules in the shopper’s browser. App code does not send the postal code to our server or save it in cookies or local storage. Coverage rules are visible in the storefront and are saved in Shopify theme settings.

The admin app verifies a short-lived Shopify session token, reads the shop name to identify the connected store, and uses the shop domain to open the theme editor. The application has no customer or order database. Our hosting provider processes web requests to operate the service.
